Waikato, New Zealand – 22 June 2026 – Mana Services Aotearoa today announced that Cyril Gudgeon, currently Deputy Chief Executive, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer effective 1 July 2026. Founder Lachlan Sloan will transition from CEO of Mana Services to the full-time role of Group CEO of MSA Group, the parent company of Mana Services. Mr Sloan will remain a Director of Mana Services and continue to serve as a key strategic advisor.
The leadership change formalises the significant contribution Cyril Gudgeon has made over the past 18 months, during which he has effectively led day-to-day operations while Mr Sloan has focused on MSA Group initiatives across Australia and broader group strategy.
“Cyril never wanted this position and that’s why he’s the man for the job,” said Lachlan Sloan. “Cyril has long been our leader — the person who best rallies the team and gets us motivated. He is also very commercially astute and has a strong sense of vision and direction for the organisation. We are in great hands.”
“If I am honest, I am reluctant about the change but knowing the importance of what needs to be done I’ll do what is needed. I’m extremely humbled by this opportunity and grateful for Lachlan’s support as I move into this role.” Said Cyril Gudgeon. Cyril has been instrumental in Mana Services’ growth as a leading provider of trauma-informed care and support services for vulnerable rangatahi across New Zealand. He brings deep operational expertise, commercial acumen, and a strong commitment to the organisation’s mission.
Lachlan Sloan will continue to provide strategic guidance to Mana Services while driving the wider MSA Group’s development, including its expanding operations in Australia and new ventures.
