We aim to empower the rangatahi to achieve positive outcomes for themselves and their whānau, with a holistic approach which encourages a kaupapa Māori framework.
We work directly with Oranga Tamariki to provide 24/7 care and protection for the community’s rangatahi wahine (young women).
Rangatahi wahine in Aotearoa, New Zealand, is under more pressure than ever before, and their mental health is suffering as a result – rates of anxiety, depression, self-harm, and abuse are skyrocketing.
Mana wahine works with all wahine irrespective of cultural background but our specialisation is Māori and Pasifika.
Merita Grace’s career is a blend of administrative mastery, entrepreneurial spirit, and community involvement. Merita comes to Mana after working for Oranga Tamariki for a number of years in management roles. She is proficient in her role, demonstrating exceptional organisational skills and strong dedication to service. Merita leads a team of specialist wahine across multiple regions.
