Mana Services

About us

Transition Services

WHO WE ARE

Mana Services is a social enterprise that is focused on providing premium care solutions
for tamariki and their communities.

After a number of years working in care services, the founders of Mana identified some
vital opportunities to better support our displaced and/or disadvantaged tamariki.

In 2020 Mana Services was launched to provide a specialised, targeted solution to youth
care, support, training and development. We consider ourselves an elite care,
results-focused organisation.

about-us-unique

What makes us unique?

Mana is an intensive wrap around support mentoring, programming and care services organisation that partners with whānau for outcomes. By bringing all four elements together under one umbrella we reduce the number of services that are working with each tamaiti and increase positive outcomes and accountability.

Our service frameworks draw inspiration from the Te Whare Tapa Whā model, and as a care provider we recognise the value in a holistic, kaupapa Māori approach to supporting tamariki.

Our Approach

Whānau first, working with both tamariki and their whānau to drive engagement and outcomes.

Mentor-Led Care (Kaimahi Taiohi). Our kaimahi provide 24/7 care while acting as mentors and positive role models for tamariki.

We aim to significantly reduce the “foot traffic” in the lives of tamariki.

We work with the community to create programmes that are relevant and engaging for rangatahi. We recognise the need to meet them where they are at, leveraging their passions and interests to build a bridge to their future.

We recognise the value of a kaupapa Māori approach in all that we do.
